Bargain Benz: 43k-mile 2001 E430

Listed recently near Cleveland, Ohio, this 2001 E430 has only 43k miles and seems to be well-kept. The exterior is finished in Tectite Grey Metallic which is surprisingly less common than you'd think. The interior compliments nicely in light grey leather showing minimal signs of wear. The woodgrain appears free from cracking or fading and an aftermarket headunit with bluetooth and back-up camera has been installed. The car does have heated front seats although no other notable options can be seen.

The exterior paint shows nicely in photos. Some minor scraping along the bottom of the front bumper on the passenger side corner is visible and to be perfect, the headlights could use a restoration. All body gaps appear to be even, indicating no accidents although a Carfax and in-person inspection would help to validate. Minor curb rash can be seen on the front wheels which are specific to the 430s as 17" five-hole designs, a significant visual improvement over the standard 16" wheels.

The seller states the car runs and drives excellently and has no leaks. These 4.3L M113 engines are known to be extremely reliable and last for many miles if properly maintained. At 43k miles, this car is only broken in and should prove to make someone a fantastic car. Of course, you must make sure there's no rust issues lurking as w210s were notorious for that and the car is located in a Northern state. We can't see any indications of rust from the pictures, however, that doesn't mean it's not there. The seller is only asking $5,900 which we feel is a great deal contingent on an in-person inspection or PPI.
