Euro 1992 Mercedes 300TE 5-Speed

Scouring Ebay listings today, we came across what looks to be a very cool Euro 1992 Mercedes 300TE with a factory fitted 5-Speed Manual transmission and some very nice AMG styling cues.

Painted Pearl Blue Metallic (348) over European optioned Black Cloth (061), this W124 was originally delivered new to Germany before making its way to the east coast. Although the U.S was never offered the option of cloth seats nor a standard shift gearbox on a 300TE, we are more than familiar with the 3.0-liter inline-six M103 in which it is powered by, and which is said to be mechanically sound. The 5-speed transmission is a rare commodity for any w124, much less an AMG-kitted wagon. It also adds a bit of spice when you get behind the wheel.

In further examining the photos, the car appears to be in very good condition cosmetically as well, and we think the color really compliments the car well. The seats appear to be free of any tears or burn holes, the dash look to be free of any cracks, and the wood trim appears to be very nice with just only minor cracking visible around the center console and shift knob.

The AMG-style bodykit really does look great here, coupled with the genuine AMG Monoblocks and the overall height at which the car sits at currently. We think it looks properly balanced between modified but tasteful. The clear corner lenses and turn signals are also a nice touch as it works well with the overall color scheme here. And If this wasn't already the ultimate family-hauler, it also comes equipped with optional pop-up third row seating.

Having covered just about 93,000 miles from new, this 300TE looks like it would make for a really nice daily commuter that would also attract a crowd at any car show. There's really a lot to love here, and offered at $19,995 (with the option of making an offer), this is towards the top of our list of W124's currently available for sale in the market.
