There's no denying we love w210 E55's. A few months ago we had the opportunity to take an exclusive look at a 1999 E55 with 7,800 miles. These cars are undoubtedly future classics and with low production numbers, clean examples are getting harder and harder to find (supply and demand). This particular 1999 E55 AMG has us drooling as it has one of the rarest options from Mercedes ever. It's common knowledge that these cars had two-tone interior options, one of which is Blueberry. This, however, is a step above with the extended Blueberry leather option. This covered the entire seats in Blueberry as well as provided a leather stitched dash in Blueberry. Honestly, we've never seen a car optioned with the extended leather in this color. Sadly, the pictures don't do it justice.
The seller states all electronics work and there are no error lights on the dash. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sports which is a very good sign and the original staggered monoblocks still accompany the car. Within the last 20k miles the car has received new wheel bearings, fuel filter, steering rack, and trans fluid flush. The paint appears to be in excellent condition all around. It's worth noting the rear E55 AMG badging may have been reapplied at some point as they appear to sit low. Overall, if you're in the market for an E55, we feel this is an excellent candidate. The car is listed at $9,500 firm with 99k-miles currently. Many people dislike the 99's in comparison to the 00-02's, however, the 99's are more rare and the pre-facelift design is still aggressively understated. If nothing else, just sit back and drool over the interior.
