Topless Beauty: 1995 E320 Cabriolet

One of the most desirable w124 chassis cars is the cabriolet. With the exception of the 500E/E500, the cabriolets seem to command premiums over their couple and sedan brethren. The w124 is known for it's strong build-quality and reliable m104 engine. This 1995 E320 Cabriolet is found with Enthusiast Motorcars of Rowlett, Texas. The car currently has 91k miles with an asking price of $17,800.

On the exterior, all panels appear to be matching with no evidence of paint work. Panel gaps are also equal all-around. The car is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over Beige Leather (265). Notably, there is a small scuff on the rear drivers side bumper corner and the front bumper appears to missing a tow hook cover. The dark brown soft top is in working order with some light wear marks at the creases.

The leather seats and door cards are in great condition showing very minimal signs of wear. The dash also remains free from cracking. The center console woodgrain does have a couple of minor hairline cracks in the finish but the color is acceptable with minimal fading.

The M104 3.2L inline six cylinder engine is known for it's reliability and longevity. The engine was rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new. Only 3,676 w124 cabriolets were sold in the US in 1995 making this a relatively rare find. As a last year model for the w124, it is highly desirable.
